This is brilliant Marjorie!
Your's is not so bad either, Katy😊 Everyone has made a good start, I think the colours of Autumn are beautiful, I know I'll be looking forward to the change in colours on my palette.
I like the abstract of the hay stacks and yes Katie, those leaves, I think they came from that imaginary place in my head. Your picture is very accomplished as is yours Marjorie, I like them very much.I might have a try at an apple over the weekend and try to pay more attention and take my time.
Denise your leaves look like olive tree!  Great offerings from all of you, well done!
Gillian, the more I look at them, they remind me of pok choi.
Here’s a sketch I did last month, seems appropriate to share for this challenge
Some great paintings so far, thanks for the comments on my hay stacks. Marjorie, at first glance I thought your tomatoes were real! Sorry to hear you’re in lockdown again. I wish we could turn off 2020 and reboot it. But we’ve got to try and stay positive, I suppose......at least we’re here.
Ellen, at first I started out with the idea of a " trompe l'oeil" and, to an extent, it worked. I don't like painting " like a photograph" so it was an experiment. I love the mellow colours in yours, by the way.
The almonds look lovely. This is my second offering. When you are teaching yourself with no guidance, you are all over the place and I think these challenges are really helping me to focus. I plan to try some more fruit over the weekend as my grapes where a disaster.
This is lovely Denise, very imaginative and great colours.
Thanks Katy, I did it this afternoon, I am going to focus on fruit this weekend so might have another offering before October is out.
Hello everyone, lovely contributions so far. I tried watercolours for the first time today. It's just from imagination.
