Brilliant Dragons everyone, all so different. At the risk of offending our Welsh speaking friends, here is a rough sketch I did for a friends leaving card, when she transferred back to Wales.
Here's an oldie...
He looks a suitably sinister ambush predator Skylar.
Here is my boy. Mixed media ( gel pens and inktense pencils on black mixed media paper
Excellent work Gill he looks very mythical . Skylar when was your dragon done I though when I looked earlier that it didn’t have the smooth look that you current work has was it on a older program, as yiu know I don’t use digital but it nonetheless interested me regarding the difference.
Paul- Thank you! I found this image in my archived files on an SSD. I must have been Beta -testing the ArtRage software. And, yes, I was in a learning curve.
BTW That was 2010.
Some splendid dragons on hereo . Just found this little guy in my sketchbook. I drew him very quickly sitting in the House of Commons ,he is a carving at the end of apes. Another sketchbook memory...
Some terrific Dragons on this site! Well done! My grandaughter asked me the other day to sketch a dragon so I created one that resembles an Emu!

Emu soaring high with pink dust from the earth! He is called Waakal!
I’m a bit late to the party but here’s one I painted when I first joined POL. My grandson’s bearded dragon.
