Being a lover of impressionism, I prefer the first and second works to the third, which tends to lean towards detail. A purely personal trend I  accept, but fine work anyway Marjorie.

Jim, I must keep trying to keep away from too much detail. I’m going to row back a bit from the most recent, no detail as such in the foreground but the interest more in the middle foreground and beyond. We’ll see how it goes🤞

You're nowhere near too much detail yet, in my opinion.  Mind you, I often veer too far in that direction myself....

From one sleepless person to another…..thanks Tessa, and Gerry and Robert for your interest.  Might get a bit of time on it this morning before our boisterous dog lodger arrives, then it’ll have to be put away until he leaves, on Sunday.
