Just seen that I seem to have acquired spam on the comment page of my painting Bull Bay Anglesey.  . Same spam appeared here on the forum.   Has anyone else had this joy. .. Or just me ? Just in case it goes AWOL I took this pic A new  one for the moderators...sorry guys.

It’s happened once or twice before, once registered the spammer has randomly picked a person and cut and pasted the advertisement onto the comment’s section. We will have to ask Dawn to remove it , as moderators cannot alter anything on the gallery , sorry I can’t help I will email Dawn and copy your message to her .

Sorry Sylvia . I Suspect that you were easy prey as the painting is featured on the POL home page ‘latest from the gallery’ banner.  I’ve looked at a few others there  and they don’t seem to have been affected/ afflicted.  A obvious improvement opportunity, maybe there needs to be a ‘report this comment’ button on gallery posting so admin can deal with them.

LThis appeared  on my gallery.   No one else seems to have had this joy.....copy and paste may be ....or is it the same as on the main forum page ?    Thank you Paul and Andrew.

When I popped in early, this morning I reported two instances of spam. Your screenshot looks similar to one of the posts, Sylvia. Irritating to say the least.
