Beautiful range of trees posted, they are irresistible! I think, including my most recent garden, I have planted over a thousand trees over just short of fifty years. Some I have done from Acorns, conkers, cuttings etc.
This is an old Lime tree part of an avenue of Limes on the entrance road onto the estate where I live……they must be ancient!

What impresses me about many of these paintings is that people are finding so much colour in their trees - distinguishing them from those who always paint their trees grey or black. I knew someone who professed complete puzzlement at this - she said she never saw colour in tree trunks, "surely they're all BROWN, aren't they?". It must be a dull life if you can never see colour in the familiar -look at an old, twisting oak for long enough, and you will see the colour; but perhaps my friend just didn't spend enough time looking.
There are quite a few tree paintings in my gallery, so I won't clog up this thread with them - the keen can go and take a peek!

Beautiful trees all round folks!
Here’s one of my favourites which my daughter now has on her wall.
