Yes, we do like a little verbal sparring from time to time Tao.
Should have got there earlier Michael.
Hadn't got the times to get there earlier Adele.
In fact, there are so many people there would like to help me when I posted including you. So far, I view this forum is great. -Sarah
And this post goes on.......Good to see you taking an interest in the forum Tao, it's good to talk!
Considering this forum is "boring" it is not doing too badly at present.
Many thanks for your appreciation, Syd. I actively look for little beauties going about their daily lives, as I go about mine, the colours and markings are astounding. I'll pop another in, just for you, and add to the ton 🙂 Quite apt really, a bee on a forget-me-not. Took this in April.
I'll have a look for that on Amazon, this evening. Thanks Marjorie
Carole your photos are wonderful, very clever camera work.
Many years ago my dear old mum-in-law rescued a drenched, injured bee from the garden, brought it in and put it in a shoe-box (holes in the lid of course). She put a sponge cake drenched with honey in one half of the box and one with jam in the other half and nursed it. A week later she released it back into the garden, hopefully to happily continue its life.
I think that the amount of questions and answers on the discussions has to prove that the FORUM cannot be that BORING can it?? it has certainly been entertaining to read from start to where it is now, and covered a lot of different items. Tao
I suspect a lot of people are away - but boring? No no. Peaceful. Quiet. Contemplative. Serene. Just what I like to be, heading into the weekend and planning my major dinners of the week, accompanied by a drop of wine or two, and a gin and tonic. Or three. And a cigar. Though I'm busy painting too - we are in a touch of the doldrums, and of course sometimes we put a post up in order to stir a bit of interest, but I take Syd's point that if it's always the same people things can get a bit .... well, self-referential, if not boring exactly. So if you're new - please don't hesitate to chip in - questions, comments, controversy from a wider circle than the usual suspects would be very welcome.
