Some good sketches up already, here is my offering for today
Haven't heard of some of these Alan, thanks :)
Really like that sketch Paul - inspiring me to go out and find something to sketch other than vegetables!
Wow!  This has taken off, a whole lot of sketching going on.  Thought I'd join in, although I mostly make stuff up.  I think I'll set myself a time limit to start with.  Our kitchen timer was set for ten minutes, but I got this done before the bell rang. It's supposed to be an old school marm type actually timing this first effort.  Good fun, because you haven't got time to fiddle about.
Some brilliant sketches already, unfortunately as much as I love painting and drawing I just don't have the time on a morning. Other priorities take over, will try to get something done later today. Seem to remember a schoolteacher very much like your sketch Lew, they called her Miss Wilkinson and she was a right battle-ax 😁
Gizza hand!
That's a great school teacher sketch Lew.    Linda, you won't be the only one doing later drawings -  last year, I was occasionally frantically drawing really late at night!   That's one's really clever Tessa :)

Thought I'd try to do a quick urban sketch today on my way back from getting the newspapers- not overly warm.  Fountain pen.  Added the water and a bit more detail when I got back - didn't time but a fairly quick sketch.
Margaret I’m so impressed that you took your pen and pad to the shop with you! Good result, and some crackers so far.
Great all round - it's the "doing it" that matters. Off to do mine now - think I'll try 20 mins max .
Today's effort a pedestal from my local beer garden Princess Pavilion Falmouth.
Doesn’t look like me... I’m more wrinkly  but I wasn’t putting those in. Well not all of them.  Broke my nose...BUT, it’s got me off the mark.. A4 cartridge paper ,blue crayon..40 mins . Looking in mirror  Plus I’ve just made four jars of Lemon Curd.
