Your tulips are lovely Margaret and very effective in just tones of blue.
Thank you Tessa :)
Tessa, Paul and Margaret another three good sketches, my effort today took 45 mins, from a photo I took about a week ago when we had the most glorious sunset. I've used inkbrush pens and pen straight onto paper.
Lovely colours Linda, I’ve just bought some ink brush pens must give them a try.
Love the colours, Linda - are these pens water soluble?

Thanks Paul and Margaret, my inkbrush pens came with two water pens that you fill with water and use in exactly the same way you would use a paintbrush, they take a little bit of getting used to and are lovely for small detailed work such as flowers and birds, but there are plenty of video clips you can watch. 😀 I also find papers react differently with them, I prefer smooth watercolor paper, although this painting was done on multi media paper.
Day 6 set my self a time limit but ran out of time, so here it is unfinished.

Great sky against the dark roofs.

Yet another vintage "goodie". Think it gains "something" by being unfinished.

Thanks Linda.   I use water pens with the fountain pens but my brush pens (obviously a different type) are permanent ink.
