Hello! Has anyone had experience putting their work on Singulart for sale? One of their reps reached out recently and I was wondering if any artists here have had experience with them before I jump on a call to discuss details. I know they're a fairly large platform and I'm keen to hear how you found the overall success of having art actually selling on their platform or just overall experience. Thank you so much!

Me neither which surprised me, I thought I’d looked at all or most of them. Obviously not! Had a quick glance, some average work with a price tag of thousands, nothing like hoping I suppose. Not a site that I’m interested in joining...

Thanks Robert and Alan. Yes, they're quite new (founded in 2017) so nowhere as well known as, say, Saatchi or Artfinder.  As for artist quality, I took a precursory glance and saw a few very established artists with gorgeous works that sell for £20k-£80k a piece. It's like any large online gallery I guess - there's a bit of everything.

Hi, They reached out to me a few days ago too. I wonder if they found us on here? I ignored the first email but replied to the second after browsing the site. It is tempting. She set up my profile link but I haven't uploaded anything yet. Still unsure. They take more commission than my galleries. Would be interested to hear from anyone with experience with them too.

It’s highly unlikely that your email address was obtained from this site, that information is kept confidential and never passed on by POL. I’m sure that Dawn will confirm that if she reads this! More likely to be via your website if you have one! Obviously pro-actively looking for new artists...

No I didn't mean they were passed our emails from here. All you have to do is google my name to get to my site where my email is. I just meant perhaps they spotted us here before looking us up. Please don't worry Dawn. I have no security concerns with Painters-online at all!

Rebecca, to your question I'd actually asked Singulart how they'd found me and it was via another online gallery where my works are for sale, so not this forum. By the way, I'm curious what % commission they'd quoted for you?
