So many great portraits so far- really liked the ones by Sally Ward that you posted Jenny. An artist that whose portraits I love are those by Eudes Correia who paints less formal portraits. I am in awe of his method as he starts with a big brush and seems to slap the paint on before adding details.

Very good work on show.  I especially like the Rebecca Valkan painting in Martin’s selection, the first of Christine’s selection (the black lady), and the last of Jenny’s choices. There’s a wealth of talent out there.
Truly superb portraiture and thanks to all for posting ... am afraid to post any of my favourites as I b******* the system up last time!   My favourite of these latter ones is Martin's post of Rebecca Valkan, thanks for introducing me to her.
Post your favourites Heather.  You didn’t do anything wrong, there were some spammers who got removed and you got entangled with that.  So post way.
ok, thanks Lewis!

Yes, isn’t the black lady fantastic. Well done Jenny

Oh lordy, I've been banned again, not sure what I've done.  anyway, the image was Dame Maggie Smith by Jun Hun-Sung (plus many others from this artist) and I also like 'Couple a la plage' by Josep de Togores for something completely different.
