It’s a love painting Alan, like it a lot.
That’s lovely Alan.
Wow to Alan! And Paul, I’d love to have a go, thank you.
Go ahead Marjorie, I would love to see with you choose and decide to paint.
I pop over onto the forum now and then and a couple of weeks ago I spotted Paul's photographs of which the autumn one I was quite taken with. I hope you don't mind Paul but I had a go at it in soft pastel. I'm posting it here first to make sure you have no objection to me posting it on the gallery. Thank you very much for the use of the photo, it was just the inspiration I needed to get me out of the doldrums!!
Val I’m so pleased that you used it , I put them on for everyone to use or use bit of them. I quite proud that it inspired you enough to want to do a pastel of it , please do put it on the gallery. I’m tempted to load some more photos now.
Some more autumn colours please feel free to use.
Lovely photographs. Is that a.Ginko tree I see ?
Yes it comes over from my neighbours garden , he put it in as a bonsai years ago and despite my saying at the time he had never trimmed it .
Fabulous colours - Bonsai grows when you stop restricting its roots, doesn't it?  I'm no gardener .... anyway, you've got to paint that, surely?
Yes it certainly grows Robert he spent a fortune on them at the time , I think he thought they were miniature trees and would get no bigger . Unfortunately he is the type that will not listen so twenty years later we have a large Bonsai begged , very pretty colours but thy make a mess. It will be interesting to see if people do pick up on them and see the outcomes .
Lovely photos Paul, some will make great paintings.
