I hadn't made any detrimental comment on the ballet paintings, just that on my screen I can hardly tell them from a photo. Apparently, she draws them in soft pastel and then applies pastel pencils. (I think I've got that right). Quite incredible results I agree, she has good lighting effects which create drama. It's all down to if you like that style of work, or not.
