Once you become a moderator, the controls are different: and once you get past the 70 year old mark, you forget what they were! I think you can still remove your own posts, though? I removed Martin's on this occasion because he'd asked us to - but I thought you COULD delete your own posts, if not, obviously, anyone else's. They weren't substantive posts, Martin's others, those he intended to keep, are still here.

So there isn't a 'delete' button? I've had moderator's rights for a long time now, so don't remember th'old days .... it's something that would be quite useful, I would have thought, if it doesn't exist ... now and then we all say something that strikes us as plain daft once posted, and would like to remove it: I know you can edit posts, but being able to just remove our own posts, creeping away bashfully having done so in the hope that no one noticed, would be useful... The lack of such a facility might make us think before posting though: always a good plan.......

Not quite understanding the question Carol...I'm a bit thick this morning. Do you mean could I put somebody else's face on this picture...another painting of course? Yes.
Not too thrilled with the painting myself, it's OK, could have been worse. Need lots of practice with oils. I have started another, at the moment I'm too lazy to keep at it.
