I will put it on the gallery , thanks for your opinion Paul
A quick exercise painting , just letting it develop without any plan about twenty minutes or so.
A really well spent twenty minutes Paul.
Lovely colours Paul.
Don’t know how you managed that in 20 minutes Paul! Beautiful autumnal clolours
Page from my sketch pad , I’ve been asked to do a autumn painting of the New Forest and it must include ponies and foals not one of my usual painting subjects . I have sketched horses before but this will need to include several , back to the pad to practice and fiddle about before attempting the painting.
Nice group composition here Paul.
I've drawn and painted donkeys before - and changed a horse's head to a unicorn for my great-niece; but have never tackled a whole critter - in all the years I've been drawing and painting.  Just about everything else on four legs, but not a horse - too scaredy-cat, possibly!  Anyway, enough about me (s such a thing possible?) - this is a good proof of the fact that you will be able to produce your picture, because you've already got there basically and just need to apply the skills you know you have.  Always a comforting thought.  You'll be using "models" of course - the areas I'd pay attention to particularly are the anatomical points - the rump, the way the head fits to the neck, and refining the legs. Now gallop away with your best work!

That is looking so good Gill.  I did a painting of the standing stones at Callanish on Lewis.  They are a lovely subject.
