Well a new month! Thought I would start a new thread this month. I am trying a different tack with a puffin here’s the start

I'm looking forward to the finished puffin Gillian. Puffins always remind me of a great Simon Drew picture which I once owned: Online Catalogue Prints (simondrew.co.uk) I've not been walking much lately, but did manage this monochrome sketch of a local church tower.
Nice sketch Andrew. I feel my current puffin is too fat  so he might have to do on a diet.
Gillian - I know you've probably got access to the real thing, but there's a section on Puffin's in Iolo's Wild Life on the BBC iPlayer at about 13 minutes in. BBC iPlayer - Iolo: A Wild Life - Series 1: Episode 2
Might be there , but will come back to it later!
That's a great looking Puffin Gillian. I did some pumpkins last night but did them on the wrong side of the pastel paper so flipped it over and had to draw it again last night. I finished the pastel today then did some oil painting.
Very seasonal Denise!! Your wallpaper was a labour of love! Here’s something I have done this evening,, not quite finished yet. It’s a small A4 size
TOTAL failure to photograph mine, I'm afraid.  Haven't got that new camera yet, and obviously must.
The Jack Morocco name made me think about a visit to that wonderful country ..dig around in my pile of sketch book# and found this ...amongst others .
Oh, and - Gillian - excellent, strong work there; and Sylvia, the warmth of the country is absolutely reflected in your sketch: in which - of course - there's a dog.
Quick sketch of a row of horse chestnut trees -  more fun painting this than watching my pension slide down the drain.
That’s a lovely autumnal sketch Andrew! Couldn’t agree more about the current state of the economy it’s too depressing to have stuffed under your nose all the time!
