Just got the same thing again today despite only posting one image.
I like the 4 per 24 hours,.  I never did like the post 4 before midnight and another 4 just after brigade.

For PO team! The entry by Audrey Hynds (probably yesterday’s posting) of a lovely dog shows as only the bottom half of his face until you click on it, then you see the whole thing. I don’t understand why? I would be annoyed if this was mine! I’m viewing on an iPad so maybe something to do with that? I know from other comments that there are differences in what we see depending on what device we view on, but why should that be? It happens on the banner as well.
It's happened a couple of times with  different pieces of artwork including this one.  This fault shows on a main p.c. which is what I use.
Thanks Heather, yes I’ve seen it before, noticeably on Ian’s lovely painting of a girl on the beach at Skegness! Obviously these have been painted in a longer narrowing format but the system should be able to cope with that.
Did ask a little while ago if the Private Messaging  facility was still here.  Has anyone seen it ?
May I ask, or  perhaps I missed the question.     What has happened to the notification sent through email about  the artist you are following has posted a new painting?    I am sure I have missed a lot of those I follow,
Tao If you check first on your profile it shows artists you are following and artists following you. If you want to add more, you need to find any piece of work by that artist and if you scroll down you will see an option to “follow Lew” or whoever. Hope that helps? T
Sylvia There’s a contact the artist option within the “about the artist” below any post. I’m guessing that’s it? T
Sadly Tessa that’s not what I’m looking for, yes that’s always been there and if it’s as it was it’s an email contact.  The PM was confined just to the forum.  It was used for exactly that a private message, Twas useful on occasion . Would be nice to have it back.  Hi POL team...😊😊😊😊😊😊🌻
Thank you Tessa for your reply.   I have several Artists that I follow and hate to miss their work when posted,   I always used to get a notification via email when their work was posted,    it which was very useful as it meant I didn't have to troll through pages and pages looking for their work on the gallery.     Since the change to this new system I have not had any notices, which means I have not been able to find their work unless I go through   "Search for Artist" I am very sorry for all those artists that I have missed and not commented on,     POL please bring this vital part of your system back.

This very rarely happens on my laptop. (Windows 10, Firefox browser). I think it has something to do with the images "settling into" the available space on the page. Only if one eventually fails to fit fully seen it gets "cropped" in the gallery view. That's why you'll see images change position on the gallery pages. Very like what happens on Pinterest. That's at least my theory.
