Not sure if this post vanished into the ether or no one had any interest and I’m a silly old bat.  I know Tessa received hers.  Bit bewildered.  As I know forum members are not unkind people.

Sylvia, it was a very kind offer.   However, I already have (at least!) 20 sketchbooks (I'm scared to count!) of various sizes, types of paper and degrees of use, which is why I've not taken you up on your offer.   I've also got a lot of rather old paper, which I bought before a c 10 year hiatus from art, which would be ideal for me to use to make sketchbooks following your instructions above :)    Even if people don't take you up on your offer, I suspect there might be a few who may make their own now - you might have started something off here!

Sylvia, your drawing pad is a good idea, that as Margaret already said some people will use.  Don’t feel feel stupid for suggesting the idea or that people have not taken up the very kind offer. I have drawing pads and paper to last years, one benefit of having a son in law who works for a stationary company. I should have answered you and declined the offer, not just ignored it, I’m sorry for that and I’m sure others  have not answered for the same reasons.

I must have missed your very kind offer Sylvia and I would love to be the recipient of one of your handmade sketch books. I use a lot of paper for printing etc as well as for painting and sketching, so always buying it. If you have any left of course.....in that case I will be sorry I missed the offer. Thank you x

Oh Sylvia, just got in and read this.....rotten that you felt bad, it was a lovely kind offer. I should have taken the time to say "thanks", no excuse! I do have lots of paper, some I'd forgotten I'd bought! So, a big thankyou for the offer and sorry that I didn't reply.x
