I made my first sale last week, a print of one of my originals (Mull of Galloway Lighthouse).  I am so pleased, the feeling I got when Etsy notified me to tell me I had a sale, I thought, 'Me? No, surely not'. So I packaged it up and posted off last night, with a grin on my face the entire time :)

Well done Carrie , it’s such a good feel when someone wants to pay for your work. I hope it’s the start of many more sales well done, and don’t loose that feeling of  satisfaction when your selling your hundredth painting.

Well I’m delighted for you Carrie!  I can’t remember my first sale as it was many decades ago! However, the feeling of satisfaction and delight never goes away…

That's great news Carrie, I'm so pleased for you, I hope you have many more sales. I fling all my painting in a box. It is brilliant that someone likes your work enough to buy it. Well done.

That’s great Carrie, I’m excited for you. I can remember my first sale…..it was at a local art and craft fair, I have to say I was speechless and almost forgot to take the customers payment! Here’s to many more sales.

Thank you all, I feel so humbled that someone would want to buy something that I created.   Denise your work is gorgeous, I would def have some hanging on my walls. Ellen I know what you mean, when the notification came through I went into the house to tell my husband, then busied myself with packing up the original!  It was my husband that stopped me and pointed out it was a print that I had sold not the original.  :)
