Thought I would sneak one in before the end of the month. It’s a collection of letter boxes across the road amongst which is our own. I’ve become so accustomed to it that I never really recognised it as a subject of a sketch. Been trying out some Conte crayons, but think I’ll try another medium next time.

Thank for the info, Ron, I was thinking it might be something to do with the wildlife. Halloween coming up! Pastels used for this.

Great Halloween themes.  No sketching from me but spent the day yesterday making decorations with the grandchildren.  The windows are black card with tissue paper behind.

Great Halloween pictures! Maybe try something! Just flicking through Leisure Painter and was a Fox! So here’s a Fox in line and Inktense pencils with a wash of water.

Marvellous Halloween images, Tessa and Hilary. I saw the image in the LP, good work Gillian, and will be having a go at this one. Another handy one that appealed is the beginners guide to acrylic inks, when I saw this the magazine went swiftly into the shopping basket.

A good example of what many of us are seeing. You date, Gillian, is it wish-full thinking to get this year over and done with, and who can blame you, well, any of us really :)

Haha! The dating must have been wishful thinking in an effort to see an end to what has been a dreadful year! Certainly not deliberate! Maybe losing my marbles! New November sketch a day started!
