Lovely bit of Scribbling Alan. Very attractive.
Lew I do hope you enjoy the art club that you have joined, ts a great way to give you a kick start and a chance to meet up with like minded people. Your grumpy cooks bring to life ‘too many cooks spoil the broth!. I am off on a 3hr nature cruise through the Scapa Flow and circumnavigate the Island of Hoy tomorrow afternoon.  Hoping to do some sketching whilst on the ship!
Ditto to Gillian’s comment above. I joined my local art group just a year ago and it has been fantastic to meet other artists (hobbyists, amateurs, and professionals).
More sketchbooks drawings…the Metropolis building in Madrid, redrawn from one of my old plein air sketchbooks, so no great accuracy! architecture at its best, Stillman & Birn Beta A4 sketchbook and loose watercolour washes.

Nice one Alan.  Here is one I did sitting on the terrace of the Picton library in Liverpoo.
Fatty fingers again….when will I ever learn.

That’s good sketching Sylvia, the style I like to see in a sketchbook.
Thanks Alan
A very quick sketch today, not from life, one of my grandsons. Wasn’t in the mood at the club today so just a token effort.
Saw a little donkey on my walk earlier. I struggle with the legs!
Nice token effort Marjorie , I assume he’s between exams right now.  I tried sitting in the garden on Saturday telling myself…I WILL paint my Iris.   Took me an age to set up though just took my watercolours,   I managed to sit quite close to my water sprinkler and got a tad wet,..so did my paper.   It was incredibly bright .   Just no use at all for my ridiculous eyes ,colour perception way out and realised I couldn’t even see the sods… eventually gave up and had a quiet shout at myself and Sam….and tge sprinkler.   So gave up in disgust . Have discovers that it’s easier to work with a photograph in the shade .   My dog walk sat tge moment are full of glorious flowers so am attempting this in watercolour…  to make you laugh,,,Marjori already knows, my optician has moved and not told me…wonder why ?  But where he was is now a Thai massage parlour….which was confusing.   This is tge start of my flowery lane. Will persevere. Love the donkey Tessa….where is your blather?

A great start - no difference to the old you! Re grandson, he is in his second year at university,  oldest granddaughter is revising for A levels. Youngest granddaughter is bumping into doorknobs and table edges ( 2 years old).
