That's a smashing painting, Fiona. Have you used acrylic paint? Yes, very Cezanne.
Just started it…a granddog to look after now so will continue later.
Looking good! It's bit cooler today, much more bearable (or granddogable!)
Looks good Marjorie

Finished this for now. I enjoyed it until near the end when it all fell back a bit. I think it needs sharpening up but I’ll go back to it and pick out the central bit more. My “ buildings” challenge.
Well done Marjorie. I have started the harbour challenge this morning , and hoping to do more this afternoon. And here it is Solva Harbour in West Wales. You will see that my comfort zone is not painting boats!

Ha ha, well done Martin, it’s brilliant!
Marjorie, Tessa and Martin, impressive presentations for the challenge. I'll take on another challenge in a day or two. We've had better weather heat wise and very little cloud cover, (that the met office predicted) grueling but there's nothing better than being able to crack-on.
Excellent everyone! I'll be happy to do another challenge but not until next week.
One thing I’ve realised that I do - and never considered this before…..two challenges were not the subject matter I would have chosen BUT I found something about them which overcame that, I painted them in my own style and with a focus that attracted me. Perhaps in earlier times I rejected some subjects because I didn’t consider doing this. Does that make sense?
