Nonplused cos I still haven’t got the hang of replying to messages....and this is quite an inappropriate place to answer...so sorry in advance. Just a big thank you to Paul and Alan and others of you who take the time to say hello.  Our lives are full of daffy stuff at the moment...tribes of medics , the odd ambulance and never ending phone calls .  My life line has been my new to me wee( and he does) doggo.Sam. We can walk  in the mornings and breathe.  He is a rescue and a little gem. Brushes and pencils are around , just not picked up . I will soon.  Thank you for your lovely thoughts
Sorry to hear that things are hectic Sylvia ,I hope it settles down soon and it feels less hectic for you both. What a lovely looking dog, bet he has  you doing what he wants.  A lot of people a find painting or drawing a bit difficult at the moment, I’m sure you will get around to it when you are ready. Keep safe and well.
Well he is a lovely little chap Sylvia!  Yes, I know things are tough for you at present, and not surprising that painting is on hold for you - temporarily I hope... Motivation can be a bit difficult for many of us at present, but many of us on here still seem to be finding some inspiration I’m delighted to say! Keep positive!

Hi Sylvia,  Your new rescue little chap looks wonderful (rescue is always the best breed!).  Am sure he'll be a motivator in time for painting.  I've struggled too to get motivated but have recently started again and it feels wonderful.   Enjoy your lovely walks and breathing space ... I know exactly what you mean.
Tough times for you, Sylvia.  I wish you and yours well.  I can relate, because my wife's been very poorly lately and I worry about her.  With all that's going on it's hard to get the right mindset for painting, although in my case I have plenty of time for it.
Gorgeous little chap!  Wishing you well.
Wishing both, Sylvia, Lewis and his wife well. And life gets back to a more regular way of life. Smashing photo, Sylvia.

A strange place to post .   But I have met with such kindness here from regular posters  and just to let you know that given time I will be back. My lovely husband died two weeks ago after three years of trauma.  His end was peaceful. Life is strange and I am a bit lost. Hopefully I will find my way back to my pencils and brushes.  So don’t give up on me. X.
I’m so terribly sorry to hear that dreadful news Sylvia, given time, I do hope you’ll be back participating again, I’ve missed your input!
Very very sad for you Sylvia but brave of you to post - am sure lots of us here will be sending their love to you even though we have not met.   Take care and look forward to seeing your work one day soon.
So sorry to hear that Sylvia, so sad, but this is definitely one good place to let all your friends know, and I feel we are friends here. My brother passed away in July and I haven’t been able to pick up a paint brush since, but have managed some sketching which I find therapeutic.  You’ll get there in time with support from family and the doggo. The fact that everything is still peculiar at present doesn’t help does it. Keep in touch. You have my email if you want to shout at someone or offload. Much love. Tessa
I’m so sorry to hear of your loss Sylvia , I had wondered why we had not seen any posts from you. Please do keep in touch with us all.  Love and best wishes , Paul.
