Having removed several hundred posts from one cyto tec today (Monday July 11th) , I am taking a short break to make some coffee. You don't need to keep reporting them today, though: I shall catch them all in the end - but I have to endorse what Alan Bickley says about the site's vulnerability.  To remove these posts is a relatively cumbersome business - requiring two clicks per post, times the number of posts.  When there are up to 50 identical posts under each Forum heading, this consumes a surprising amount of time.  We need a) stricter admission criteria; b) the capacity to not only ban a user (which believe me, I took some satisfaction in doing: though I know they'll be back under another name) but to remove all of their posts en bloc.  We also need the public execution of cyto tec, but I appreciate this may be beyond the company's powers.
Well done Robert. You have our thanks and sympathy! I was looking forward to Constable this morning. I wonder if it would be possible to prevent anyone using the Forum unless they have posted work in the gallery, or have been a member for a certain time? I’m probably naïve in thinking so! These type of idiots usually turn up again.
I’ve approached the subject with Dawn this morning, there is captcha installed which prevents the bot’s but it won’t prevent  humans. I gave some considerable time and thought to my Constable narrative yesterday, only for it to be swamped out with a mass attack of rubbish! In fairness, this is probably the worst attack we’ve had in a while, nonetheless it’s dammed irritating! Yes, we’ll done Robert…
Well done Robert, your effort is greatly appreciated by us all, I'm sure. Enjoy your coffee break.
Good work Robert  your hard  work is really appreciated, enjoy your coffee.
All gone - for now at least.  I wish it were as easy to clean these pests out as they seem to find it to post multiple attacks.
Great relief here at the Batcave!  Dawn tells me that a couple (?) of others, or at least one, is/are joining me as squashers of spam on the Forum: with any luck, this should dramatically improve our chances of removing it - hopefully before others even need see it. I know Paul 'Dixie' Dean is one - is Alan Bickley another?  I can tell them that we have long periods of peace, interspersed with intense attacks which make the Forum temporarily unusable.  I think, and hope, that having their help will be a real step forward, and make my life - and of course Dawn's and her colleagues' lives - a lot easier.  Perhaps we should call ourselves The Swat Team.......
You won't believe this - I just posted this, and up pops another ******* spammer!  You're unlucky day, Mohammed: I hadn't yet gone to bed.
Yes Robert, Dawn has asked me also, so we’re well equipped now between the three of us to tackle the biggest of hits, such as we experienced on Sunday. Any borderline stuff (which we do get occasionally), I’ll probably refer it to you, being the long-standing and therefore senior spam ‘zapper’ on the team!
Robert you have done a superb job and I thank you for doing so. I do hope that I will be able to help keep the forum as clear as we can . I believe these people have some quiet up to date kit enabling them to make multi hits we stand a better chance with the three of us plus the team of keeping it down. Like Alan I will refer  to you when in doubt Sir .
The Three Musketeer's.   Big thank you all of you.

Doesn't the forum software allow you to select all the posts and click the delete button for all of them?
