Dear all, I have no idea why my 2 recent blogs looked like a confusion of HTML. I posted via plain text, and all looked well during the "waiting for approval" stage where they still looked fine. ??

I haven't yet put a blog on the new site - but perhaps a word with Dawn Farley might be useful.  Did you just type into the space provided, or copy and paste?  I've had no trouble in the past using Word (and hope to have no trouble in the future!).
Hi Robert. I know what you're getting at with the "Word" problem. That certainly happens on blogger if one isn't careful. No. I type on Word to check spelling, but cut, paste & save that into Notepad, which removes all hidden HTML, etc. and saves it as plain text. I do this on all internet sites I visit, (including the gallery etc., here), and never a problem. Also, it reads perfectly well before being "moderated". If it isn't resolved I shall use the Forum thtreads instead. Thanks for the response. Liking your work!

My 2 blogs are re-posted BUT they are STILL a mess. The text still contains random HTML. Can someone look at them and confirm or otherwise that they're seeing the same? This fault is not happening my end. I am uploading plain text, and it isn't happening in the Gallery or this Forum (or Fbook, or Blogger, or Twitter, etc).
I’ve just looked and it all looks fine to me Gordon.
Thanks Tessa. That is strange. Above is a screen shot of what I am seeing. Underlined are the HTML faults. I am quite internet & pc savvy, and don't experience this anywhere else. Can anyone else give me any feedback?
All looks fine on my screen also Ian, some corruption going on somewhere, but I’m no expert on these things.
I only saw the one about the Goose fair / selfie. I assume there’s a second?
I am getting closer to the problem. When I view on My Blogs I see the HTML codes. When I view on the main blogs page I don't. However, I don't like the way all text is presented in one huge ugly unbroken block. For everyone. No paragraphs. No opportunity for seperate lines of poetry. Okay then.. Not necessarily a "problem", more the web designer's choice. If I write further about my stuff it may well be on the Forum instead. Huge thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated!
Well I didn’t like to mention the omission of paragraphs in your blog Ian, which does as we all know make reading a block of text much easier and is necessary. However, from your comments, it would appear that this is a design issue and one that needs to be addressed.
Hi Alan. Don't be sensitive. I even like my apostrophes in the correct places :) I shall delete if this is the best the site can do re blogs. The rest of the site I do enjoy.
I've asked that the developers look at the problem of paragraphs within the blogs. I did look at your recent posts Ian and couldn't see the HTML you mentioned - clearly that's because it's not showing on the main site!
