Also, no option to delete a blog? Or am I missing something? Thanks anyway.
You're right Ian - I will ask for that to be looked into as well.
As only a very occasional reader of blogs, I do find it odd the when you scroll through the blogs or even search, there is no mention of the author's name.  Except on the 'Latest Blogs' section on the home page.
The author's name appears on the left of the blog post Tony.
Not a problem, more a confession.  I've paid scant attention to Blogs.  Just had a quick squint and find there are over 400 pages of them!  Having skimmed a few, I think we get much the same thing on the forum.   My excuse is there's only so much time I can spend on the POL site, if you're not careful your 'quick look' turns into a hour or so.  But I must start looking through the latest additions, at least.
Lew I look at the blogs now and then, and make occasional comments, but very few people do, and as you say there’s a bit of an overlap with the sort of thing on the forum, so maybe they are somewhat surplus?
Going back to Blog authors....on the home page the authors name is shown against the blog, and if you open a blog you see the authors name, but if you click 'view all' from the home page latest blog section, then the author's name isn't shown on the blog summary.
Time spent on the POL Site is a good point Lewis. That’s why I will not be getting involved in this studio wall thing. Same goes for face book , Twitter and all them things. The internet is a wonderful assistance, but let’s not live life in the clouds. Get things done in life, art for example. Lol. It’s important to get a good balance. More in life and less in the clouds of the internet. Apology for rambling on. Off out now ideas hunting for paintings of this year autumn show.
hello Ian, i just looked at your blog posts and, like mine, full of gobble-de-gook!! it seems that some characters don't transpose very well even if text formatting is removed. and yes, I agree about the paragraphing, makes the posts very difficult to read, i hope they fix this soon - otherwise pointless loading up a blog post! I've just tried to edit mine again and it won't save the new changes!! mamma mia!! www.amandabrett.net

I wrote a blog entry to test it out - ghastly mess; formatting problems, can't make paragraphs.  This part of the site isn't fit for use at the moment; hope it'll be dealt with.
I have reported these issues about the blogs area - should be looked into soon hopefully!
Retyped the last para in Ian's blog and it added OK. But, I can't see how to delete unwanted posts.
