If you can't make it to Nottingham to see this year's open art exhibitions, which open today at the Patchings Festival of Art, Craft & Photography, you can see all of the exhibited, highly commended and award-winning works of art at this link https://www.patchingsartcentre.co.uk/TALP/TALP_Exhibition/index.php Don't forget to vote for your favourites to win The People's Choice Awards!
Well done Alan Bickley, for the second time running! I'm going to Patchings to see all the wonderful entries " in the flesh". Hope to recognise some familiar faces...will be there on Friday. Marjorie.
Just had a very quick look and unless I missed it not a single abstract to be seen. Is that because none of any merit were entered or because of a degree of bias in selection and judging?
Well done Marjorie and Alan, fingers crossed for you.
Thanks Marjorie for letting me know, I see that I have won the Royal Talens Award so the art materials will be very welcome. Congratulations to you also for winning an award, it just shows that it's always worth having a go at these things.
Feel awful - forgot to congratulate Marjorie and Alan - so putting that right now - great achievement but so well deserved.
Well done Marjorie and Alan - I shall raise a glass to you both.
Well done, both!
Well done Marjorie and Alan. In my previous post I didn't realise you had won, so hearty congratulations to you both.
Really pleased for you both - well deserved!
A bit late but I would also like to join Marjorie in thanking those who congratulated both of us on winning awards at this year's Patching's open art competition.
Can I add my belated congratulations. Didn't make it to Patchings as I was otherwise committed but from the link I'm sure I missed a treat.
