Don't know that I've entirely grasped the issue here, but from time to time we all have to log-in again - my details are saved in Chrome, so that's very easy to do.   If you're having to do it several times a day, though - maybe change your browser?  Chrome has worked well for me in this and other ways. By the way, are you aware that your new avatar has a certain resemblance to Fagin, of Oliver Twist fame?  A man much misunderstood, I always thought: the lads he looked after were probably a lot better off with him than they would have been in the Parish Workhouse....

In my case I just wasn't able to login, and the message was LOCKED OUT *please try again later, or contact us... It did remain for 12 days like this... No Robert, I have no idea about of what what you did mention regarding my profile picture, lol, I need to Google it... Thanks for keen reply. Art.
Nah....it doesn't Robert, Fagin was gray with long  oily locks , a long thin nose and a malevolent expression. Most of his boys were probably hung at a later date...sorry Pog we are talking about you...think your pic is coming along well.  Bill Sikes maybe ?

Lol - I got no clue who Fagin was, lol hahahaaaaa. I'm happy you like the progress of my experiment dear Sylvia ;) Art.
Fagin was a fence, featured in Charles Dickens' Oliver Twist.  He collected street urchins - i.e. abandoned or runaway young boys - and sent them off on pick-pocketing missions.  He was played by Alec Guinness in David Lean's film of the book, and by Ron Moody - whom you somewhat resemble in profile - on stage and in a musical by Lionel Bart.   Wikipedia will assist with any further information required.  It's a good book - have a read.
I'm working late hours, getting home well past midnight/one a clock AM..ish...  I haven't had time to search for Fagin just yet, so I'm appreciate you've posted shorts of the story for me Robert. So Fagin is a *dark character rather, lol, and at some point a business man too, lol hahahaaa! I like this comparison to myself, lol, not, not his dark side maybe,  lol, but his business skills to gather money hahahaaaa!

Don't be sorry, because I do enjoy following your chat to Robert !!!

This post has been removed as it violates our forum rules and guidelines.

I expect we're all quite capable of distinguishing between the worlds of fact and fiction.
According to Copyleaks ai content detector the comment posted by Friman Dolben is ai generated. I loved your reply Robert! would be a shame to delete that.  I've been testing some ai image checking sites too, not reliable, in fact dreadful. Lots of false positives when you check paintings that you know for certain are real world physical paintings. My cow Debbie comes up as ai.

And yet it seemed that there was intelligence - if of a prod-nose and prissy character - behind the comment.....  You can't trust anything you see nowadays.... I originally wrote a very rude reply, but thought - 'ang on, I thought - this doesn't look quite kosher.  Imagine my surprise when discovering it wasn't...  Anyway, sort of realizing that we were being toyed with, I toned my response down in order to not fall into a trap. Multi-moderation, in the meantime, seems to be working very well on the forum!  Copyleaks, yet!  Way beyond my limited comprehension - but congratulations to whomever removed it (you, Collette?): well rumbled!
I took the decision to remove it Robert, hopefully this isn’t going to be an ongoing issue!
Then my congratulations are transferred to you, Alan.  The ony reason I didn't act on my initial suspicions was that it might have been targeted at me: and a slippery slope is enjoined if one removes posts offensive only to oneself. As to it being an ongoing issue: I think we have learned from this one and will be on the alert in future - well, you were on the alert already: it'll take more than AI to defeat what, were I a younger man, I could get away with calling the POL massive.
