This post has been removed as it violates our forum rules and guidelines.

I'm sure our moderators are aware of this...the above post, and similar ones on other posts, having nothing to do with art (according to google translate)...and should be  deleted.
No problem, thanks Lew… I haven’t seen any others today but we’re all ever vigilant! Just spotted the others, thanks!

I’ve just removed three out of the moderators list , both the same as we have had recently and I have removed four in the past two days from the same source I believe.
Had a few yesterday - they came, I saw them, they went....   Always quite satisfying to spot something and weed it out before anyone reports it.  A moment of conscience though - there was a very long post in one of the middle-eastern scripts; a rather beautiful one, although it could have said just about anything - I can't distinguish Urdu from Pushtu, Hindi from Farsi, and certainly couldn't understand it; however, I deleted it because this is an English language website - very few of us would have understood the post, and at that length it was plainly a copy and paste job.  But - was I right to remove it if I didn't understand it? I don't know; but I did, and in general I would if I saw another example; but possibly wouldn't if it were a European language I understood, or semi-understood (I don't speak Spanish, and hardly any Italian, but a bit of basic Latin helps).  Actually - if it were another language, I'd probably either translate it or remove it .... but still: these are among the issues which moderators face.  Save us the dilemma, and just post in English.....
Oh, and back to the point - congratulations to Steve Stewart.
I removed one such.  I was the fact that it picked an old thread for the first post, one often picked by previous scammers, which settled my mind on it.
I find it so irritating when someone, usually a first time poster, latches on to a discussion from months or even years ago! If someone genuine posts comments in another language or script and this is deleted, it’s up to them to come back in something we can understand.  Grrr, and I’ll go back in my corner now! Thanks moderators once again. 🙏👏🏼
