Not too close to Christmas, maybe end of November beginning of December. You could also find out if there are any local arts/craft fairs planned, if you can't get a stand with the organised fair, see if there is a venue near by and put your gallery sign out. You can take advantage of their advertising and close proximity.
Now you've had success at your last venue it might prove fruitful again Derek.
