Welcome to this week’s bonus artist thread this week I’m featuring ,
Clive Madgwick 1934 to 2005. Clive was a British artist known for realistic English pastoral scenes that depicted trout farms, farmers at work in the fields and sleepy county towns. Born in Surrey he studied Dental Medicine at Guys Hospital and persuade painting as a hobby until middle age when he made it his sole profession. His oil paintings were in the possession of Queen Elizabeth 11 at Windsor Castle, I presume they are still there .
I hoe you enjoy the artwork, it certainly grown on me since discovering his work a couple of months ago.

How small is this world Jenny , do you recognise any of the scenes he’s painted and we have shown so far . I must admit I do like it when someone can identify with the artist or are etc it somehow makes it more interesting and alive .
I have a soft spot for these pastoral scenes , some do remind me of childhood when we were living out in the countryside on RAF camp , back in the 1950s lot of little old farms etc nearby where we would roam and play the farmers always seemed friendly and used to give us rides on the trailers etc.
