I agree, wholeheartedly.
Fantastic artist Paul, love his work, really outstanding.
Prolific painter with some excellent watercolour studies. I particularly like his architectural work.
Are all of these paintings made in watercolor? If so, this is very impressive.
I think so, yes: makes you want to burn your brushes, doesn't it.....?
Yes Lucian he is a watercolorist , he takes watercolour to another dimension . I personally can’t remember ever seeing anyone who produces  work as good as this , he is exceptional even his simple paintings  are amazing. As I said in the intro he started drawing and painting seriously when he was ten years old and was taken as a serious artist at the time . What it would be like to have such talent I can only imagine, I would love a quarter of his talent. Sorry I did not reply sooner as I have been away from my phone and iPad.

I agree. I noticed that he is particularly skilled at painting realistic light reflections. The wet street reflecting the sky in the first work is outstanding. As for the two portraits, I had no idea it was possible to blend colors like that in that medium.

In the hands of a master watercolour is a superb medium and far  more can be done with it than we think . Hard work, dedication and talent is what produces such great results. I hope your enjoying the thread and welcome to the discussion's.
All outstanding works, love this. The Town of Chiufen.
There are quite a few YouTube demos showing him at work. Interesting to see the brushes and techniques he uses.

I have just watched one of his videos, painting some boats in a harbour amazing how he works and the size of brush he uses . I do like the idea of a atomiser to keep the areas wet for blending without drowning it in water. Thanks for the info  re the videos Jenny they are certainly worth watching.
According to Paul (Dixie) Dean's advice from this thread, I am posting here my suggestion for the next thread in the Inspiration from Artists section of the forums: a famous painter from my country, Ștefan Luchian: https://www.wikiart.org/en/stefan-luchian
