A couple more to brink the tread up to the top .
He really shines on the colour-mixing front: his evening and early-morning skies in particular are beautifully done.
MARY JEAN RUHNKE is a professional artist who lives on a goat and cattle farm in Texas.  With over 13 years of self-taught experience she has created her own individual style of mixed media artwork using brushes, a palette knife, acrylic pigments and ink.  Her paintings are often on quite a large scale. She draws inspiration from her inner child and her environment, often using her own photos for reference.  She finds solace in the creative process, using it to manage her stress and symptoms from ulcerative colitis.  Hers is a story of pain and healing, hope and courage, and by opening up about her own personal struggles alongside her artwork, she encourages viewers to also find their strength in times of hardship.  Her story is a testament to the power of art and its ability to transform and heal us.

Fantastic Jenny, what a super choice. Love her subjects and her style.
A WOW from me, what a distinctive way to present your art. This one is an 'ALICE' picture (as in wonderland etc)
I love the ones with the birds in it, Which is actually most of them - she captures them so superbly… An interesting idea of combining monotone with colour, the end result is quite striking!

I like these very much, another terrific artist.
Stunning artwork, thanks for the introduction Jenny , I just love how she presents her work.
The paintings you have posted, Dixie are wonderfully atmospheric. The paintings you have posted, Jenny, I have to say a big, WOW! They really appeal to me, more so the crow paintings, however, I'd give wall space to any of them. An artist I will be viewing more of. A delightful find.
These are so special…
Amazing!
