Paul, a couple more for your list.... Martin Lewis Michael Taylor. By the way, I did Carl Larsson on the list supplied by Jenny.  Easy to do now, you've covered so many artists.

Thanks to everyone who posts inspiring artists. I don’t comment very nich but I do enjoy them.
Lewis, I did look through the list of artists we’ve already featured because I knew Carl Larsson had been mentioned before, but couldn’t see his name on the list.  I do, though, remember that you chose this painting of his for one of the forum challenges we had to post a picture for others to guess who painted it.  I’ve looked at a lot of his other work and don’t recall having seen any of it already, so it might be good to feature him anyway?  If so, would you like to do it?

Jenny...some while back I did a week's thread on the subject of watercolour artists.  I covered many I admired.  I've looked for this thread but I can't find it, and I've got  fed-up with looking for it. I'm pretty sure I covered Carl Larsson fairly well in that thread, or maybe in some other thread. If you want I CAN do it again.  He was one of several artists that I made up slideshows I could show on my TV.  So it's very easy for me to do.  But I can't shake off the feeling that I've already done it.   Here's a page from my slideshow, covering the point when the Larsson's home became a lifestyle icon...surely it looks familiar???   IF this doesn't ring any bells, I'll do Carl Larsson (possibly again.)
No, that doesn’t ring any bells, and I could only find a brief mention of him in your watercolour artists thread, maybe it was another one.  No matter, I’m sure others will remember it if it’s already been covered, so no point doing it again!

I have  had a good look at Carl Larsson and I can’t recall seeing his work before but then as we have had roughly 300 or so artist on the thread I might have forgotten. It would be unusual for me to forget if I had seen quite a bit his artwork but would easy forget seeing just a few . I can add him to the list and in the meantime I will try to look back on the lists we have to see when he was featured. I have found this entry week 72 when Lew did his favourite artists many thanks to Andrew for the list he created for me . This is the only one posted so another look at his work would be totally in order .

If you do add him to the list, I’d be happy to do a write-up if Lewis prefers not to, but will leave it up to you.
If you want to do Larsson, I'll do it.  (Perhaps I'm wrong about having featured him before).  I already have a slide-show of his work (made for my own use on my big TV), he was very prolific, there are a hundred pics in my slide-show...so it'll need to be cut back for the thread.   Jenny already does so much for the thread, as I have the pics, it's pointless to add to her workload.
It’s done deal then Lew , as you have all the stuff you need already. It’s so easy to forget who we have seen or presented over the last few years, yes it over that since we started. I do recall you say you had a lot of presentations that you had made for your own use and did use some in Week 72 to great effect .  I have a never ending list as it grows almost daily , some are from the 1700/1800 hundreds and many more modern artists, In content to post and present artist for as long as you want . If any of you have any suggestions about improving the thread then please do let me know , I don’t want it to become stale and have the thoughts of same old same old .  More name and more of you will to do a simple introduction would be a good start, you don’t have to be any king of expert or critic to do a presentation and all the information is available on line Come on  give it a go  it actually quite enjoyable.
Paul...as I've said, some years back I made art slideshows for my own enjoyment.  I've shown a few in this series.  Mostly I've saved pictures because they interested me, rather than just doing a slideshow on one artist.  So I have several of these covering a variety of artists and styles.  The remit of this thread is to do one artist at a time, so you may have no interest on  a variety of art.  Maybe, once in a while, if you ever get stuck for subject matter (unlikely, I guess), I could present one on a variety of artists.  Well, the offer is there if you want it.
