The drawing is interesting, because (apart from anything else) it gives us an idea of his approach and technique.  I think you have duplicated one of the paintings, but as it was worth seeing twice, it doesn't matter.

Two more from me to finish - it was his paintings and lithographs of horse markets that first drew my attention to his stylish work.

I do like his work very much and have chosen a few more with horses. I’m not normally attracted to traditional horse paintings but I like his graphic style. It seems many of us don’t particularly like paintings with figures included but these are excellent. Apart from Lowry I can’t think of another artist who packs their paintings with crowds like these and he achieves great movement in both people and horses.
