Inspiration from Artists Wk 126: Featuring artists Andrew Barrowman and Pamela Jones

Judges schmudges - Andrew is a fine painter and draughtsman (I can't bring myself to say "draughtsperson" - it just seems so utterly silly!  Man can embrace woman: admittedly, I don't, but I curse the day this sort of language became current - have I gone off on one again...?).   Anyway, we could, as you will know, Linda, have included far more of Andrew's work, and in a way I wish we had: but he's easily found online; I've said it before, I know, but I'm very drawn to his habitual "good fun" comment: because that's what painting and drawing should be - very few artists genuinely tear their throbbing soul out of their tortured bodies, as some would have us believe; they do it because they like it, and if they don't like it, they shouldn't be doing it.   Here endeth today's homily.
