Had a look at her work yesterday.  I particularly like a few of her portraits - an interesting style.

Another good find.  All good, but I especially like her portraits.  A wonderfully loose but accurate style.
Had another look at this lady's art.  I like her scenes of everyday life... ...it has a looseness of style that I admire very much.  When I try it myself I can't resist sharpening everything up with line-work...as she did in the portraits shown earlier.  I guess it's a case of admiring styles you can't/won't do yourself. This, on the other hand, is a step too far for me... ...I expect many of you will disagree.  But a very fine artist.
Excellent choice Lew , I  like her street scenes they are all full of movement.

I think the portraits are just wonderful.
It’s always a nice feeling when the artist you choose is so well received. Next week’s Featuring Artists are Edward Wesson and Toulouse Lautrec I will open the new thread on Sunday evening.
Have to love her work, she painted two of my favourite comedians of all time - and creatively, with freedom. The poppy painting: well, I see Lew's point, but I do like it all the same.
Who is showcasing the Wesson Paul? I’m happy to have a go if you have no one else in mind!
I was go into too Alan but I’m more than happy for you to do the introduction you will know his work far more than I do . I will set it up Sunday evening as usual with you doing the introduction, thank you Alan it’s really good that someone other than me does some  introductions .
Great Paul, one of my favourite artists! I have a rather nice original signed Wesson pen and ink of Spritsail barges at Pin Mill hanging on my wall.

I’m very envious Alan and all the more as it’s of a barge at the pin mill .
Yes, I know that both you and I absolutely love these old craft. I won’t post a photo of it in my initial introduction, but later on in the week!
