I too used to own a copy of Masquerade, but it is no longer in my library. Must admit I could not figure out any of the clues, even though I lived in Gloucestershire at the time. Excellent artist though.
Mr Morris was an excellent textile and wallpaper designer, but his style is a bit out of vogue at the moment,
Thanks for reminding me of these artists.

Anne Toms, born 1944, who has lived on the Isle of Wight for many years, is the daughter of a coastguard - so spent much of her youth living in cottages up and down the country, from which derives her love of the sea - she has also been an arts administrator, responsible for rescuing an old industrial building in Newport, Isle of Wight and seeing it, the Quay Arts Centre, through its early years. She owns the Anne Toms gallery in Yarmouth, IW, where her work and other artists' and artisans' can be found.

You can feel her love of the sea and coast in her paintings Robert.
This is at Yarmouth Harbour.
This reminds me that you said gulls are not just a V shape! Definitely true.
I found also that several pieces of her work were commissioned for local hospitals, and was particularly struck by one for the ceiling above a scanner. Having had various MRI scans over the years and listened to the awful banging and whirring noises, what a lovely idea would that be! Unfortunately I was unable to copy these to show. Maybe someone else will be able to.
Another good choice Robert.
