A mixed bunch for me. Some I really like e.g the first in Dixie's first post, some leave me cold e.g. the first in Dixie's second post. Whereas I couldn't say the Washerwomen 'impresses' me, if I saw it in a gallery I'd take a second look. The more I look at the coal barges (Jenny's post) the more it grows on me, perhaps it's the promise of warmth versus the cold light.
