Ray Balkwill, another interesting and excellent artist. Has he written for the Artist magazine? Some of his work seems familiar to me.
I found some of his Plein air sketches which I like.

Also what he calls Assemblages which are mixed media pictures using found weathered material gathered from the shoreline.
This is called Through Salted Grey October Skies.
Feeding Grounds, Exe Estuary.
Autumn Sunshine, Maer Lane.
Evening Fanfare.
I do like his style very much and his skies are wonderful.
Thanks Hil for the intro. His website is well worth a look.

Well it’s the end of another week the time seems to fly by and two more excellent artists work displayed.
Next week the two artist featured are two brothers William Lionel Wyllie and John William Wyllie , both who I came across a few weeks ago while researching for the thread . I Feel a bit greedy posting two in the same week but I thought it interesting to post both at the same time . I will open the thread on Sunday evening as usual .

I do like Ray Balkwill’s work, especially the maritime ones that Tessa has posted - thought I recognised the name, must have seen his articles in The Artist. (Paul, when I logged in this morning, it said thank you for your report - I haven’t reported anything - at least not intentionally - not sure what happened there!)
