Please don’t let it become a one man show , some names PLEASE , even if you don’t want to do the introduction.
Paul, we’ve already done Jane Perkins - can you please replace with Samuel John Peploe - I’d already suggested him and have got a write up prepared.  I didn’t suggest Steve Hall, not sure who that should be.  Two more to add please - Antonio Segura Donat and Jenny McCabe. Also, I was wondering if we could perhaps have one week looking at Street Art - not just one artist, but a selection.  I’ve seen some fantastic examples recently.  Maybe we could have this as an ‘open week’ where everyone could post their own favourite examples of street art?
I will  make the change’s tomorrow Jenny thanks for picking up on Jane Perkins . That sound like a good idea re the street art , I will add a week just for that and as you say have it as an open week . Glad you have your thinking head working , mine is not very functional at the moment. I will do Steve Hall if no one comes forwards, I wrongly assumed it was you , sorry.
Paul, it was myself who offered to showcase Steve Hall - he works in the style of Edward Wesson so I’m sure that I can do him justice - I’ll definitely give that one my best shot! Let me know when it’s due to air!
Thank you Alan it will be on 24 July for Steve Hall. Sylvia has suggested Elizabeth Blackadder she did let me know before and I forgot to include her on the list , sorry Sylvia.

Looks like AB against Alan Owen… I didn’t volunteer for that one, and know little about his work - as an educated guess, I would imagine Robert suggested him Paul!
Sorry Alan , I will ask Robert ad I know he mentioned him . I’m have one of those week where whatever I do something isn’t quite right , it so frustrating I know it lack of concentration on my behalf. I will put it down to the heat and a senior faze, that or out and out stupidity.
Paul, Samuel John Peploe seems to have dropped off the list.  Would appreciate it if you could slot him in somewhere.  (Paul, it’s a pleasure to help - I find this thread absorbing and enjoyable.)

Done Jenny , thanks for reminding me he was missing off the list . I do enjoy the research it’s quite new to me and I’m always surprised at the artist that crop up when you enter the name of someone. I would certainly have to spend hours in the library and then not get as much as I can in a few hours on the internet, I do filter them quite a bit and try to post what I think people might like or find different.  I have a list of at least two hundred but the majority are Victorian or older , whist I’m doing now it to just enter landscape artists etc and seeing what turns up .
Paul, yes, the interesting part is the research and learning about different artists, although it’s rewarding when others also like them.  I’m not too keen on the Victorian era art, preferring more modern artists, but it’s good to have a varied selection.  Hopefully more people will come up with their suggestions - these seem to be a bit thin on the ground at times but, as you say, with the internet it’s so easy to find and research different artists.  It can become a bit time-consuming, but at least stops me from wasting time on Facebook!  (By the way, the open week scheduled for early September was meant to be looking specifically at Street Art.)
