I am disappointed that my blog was rejected, without any indication of why.
This reminds me of an art society in Sydney that would not even view my work without first taking a painting course. Well, that was the briefest paid membership. I never went back there again.
I have noticed that art forums are dying out these days. I wonder why.

I haven't looked at the blogs for a long time now - we have no control over them as moderators, we're only for the Forum. There ought to be a means of telling people why blogposts are rejected/declined; it may even be that the facility has been closed down. I just don't know, only the web managers could tell you.

Thank you, Alan Bickley, Robert Jones, and Norette Moore for your responses.
Here is my rejected notice...
Here is what I blogged...
TITLE: Crystal Therapy Series (WIP) 1
SUMMARY: After seventy years it is about time to be who I am.
CONTENT:
A New Year is about to dawn. What will it reveal about my art?
Can I foretell what will happen? Not really. Past history tells me that I average about one painting per seven years.
I am in retirement now and have more time to spend on art. The thing is, I never took up art seriously like I have with my other hobbies. All I know is that I would feel more regret if I did not follow this through. Why? Because art is something that I was born with. It's innate. This does not mean I do good art, according to traditions, but I do like being creative... so I suppose this is called "doing art for art's sake".
Several years ago I have started on a painting which is currently an impasse for me. I am hoping to break the deadlock by starting another painting, or more accurately, a series of eight smaller paintings. These have a common theme and use of mixed media.
Both oil painting and box art is incorporated in each artwork; they are not 'mixed' as such. The paintings serve as a background, with a box rat at the base of each.
The paintings will be done on sealed MDF board. I am sealing the boards at this very moment.

Thanks Peter, good to see you hell bent on increasing your output this year…you’ve made a good decision!
Looks to me that there are a few words here, that the automatic spamming device has picked up on, and rejected your post.
I’m obviously only speculating here, but the word ‘crystal’ is one of those. Many spammers on this site are offering crystal meth, crystal for magic etc etc…
‘Foretell’ could be another red flag for the system. Fortune teller comes to mind which is a regular spam.
Get rid of those two words and try posting your blog again!
Come back on this thread and let us know how it went…

I agree with Alan regarding the words that was my immediate thought when I noticed the word crystal , a large majority of the post we cleared over the past few months have contained the work crystal and I’m sure my fellow moderators would say the same. As Alan pointed out new and efficient systems was fitted a few weeks ago by the technicians it’s been a great help to the moderator as it’s reduced the amount of spam , unfortunately there are sometimes genuine posts removed and yours was one of them .
