russian artist in london

Born in 1980 in a small industrial town on the coast of the Caspian Sea in Kazakhstan, Yuliya was trained as a visual artist before she moved to London where she currently lives. She spends many hours continuously developing her style in combined media and particularly enjoys working with large scale watercolours. Her bright coloured technique is focused on creating multi-layered pieces inlaid with suspended like motives that flawlessly fit into any interior while generously filling the space with calm and positive energy. Working with oils she enhances her canvases with vivid contrasts and textured surfaces. Each takes months to complete and some feature more than fifteen finest paint layers. Elaborately bringing to life sometimes complex compositions, Yuliya’s work excites with myriad of details. They discretely blend in when her art observed from a distance while offering joy of discovery at far closer look.

Hi Patsy, How are you doing now? Hope you still mending fast. You're not in hospital still, are you? Looks like your painting is going to be fab. Take care, Colleen

Blimey Patsy I go off you go down with something dire...you worked in hospitals...and you know how dire hospital food is...and the roulette of getting the right dose of the right medication... Glad that MIL is on the mend...Now for HID. I know that you have him almost house-trained now...but I learned to cook do the laundry & ironing before starting senior school [it was that or fail miserably in life]...I naturally assumed that all other men did so too. GWS xxx.

hiya pat...........hope you are resting and gettin better......love the greens in your picture.....am havin a break from my painting.....feeling a little low .......so decided to cheer myself up with ebay...........lol....have decided to take the job with a bit of a challenge..........so am off work at the mo.............take care.......and get well soon.........

Hope you're feeling a bit better. It takes time doesn't it? Kids bounce back - we don't. Sounds like I married the wrong woman! I do most of the cooking all my own washing and ironing and I am the cleaning fairy. Apart from the kitchen - she reckons no-one cleans it like her. I don't argue! Sold a painting on Saturday. Nearly three. The artist on the next display reckoned I was far too cheap - and that was after I doubled my prices! A gallery owner bought my painting and wants first refusal on any new stuff for cash. Might have picked up two commissions, depending on their finances. Good day all in all. I've probably picked up some contract work so fingers crossed I won't be destitute ;) Fingers crossed that redundancy won't be as bad as I feared. Keep taking the soup (get an IV drip?) and leave the weight training until you're fully recovered :)

Hi Patsy, sorry to hear you are poorly. It sounds like time to supervise the ironing and let someone else do it! Poor you, I hope it's not the dredded Swine Flu.! The headlines on the bill board as I was passing on the bus from Barnsley today was ' Flu hits the town' ..............think I'll hibernate for a few weeks............my immune system is low ( I suspect yours is too!) Get your feet up and rest and get well soon. Cheers Pat

We echo the above sentiment's exactly........so sorry to hear how poorly you have been & we are thinking of you & wishing you a speedy recovery........two words of advice "SLOW DOWN" Will visit your gallery & have a look at your latest painting. Thank you for writing on our blog........Betty is seeing the doctor tommorrow about her arm it is no better she has to use her left arm all the time awkward when you are right handed......Max is having physio on his legs his muscles are weak.......Mum is getting worse just laying there not much hope but she is back in exmouth hospital just by us. LOL Betty & Max xxx

Patsy, I am sure that although it may take a month for a full recovery, you will be feeling a lot better in a weeks time. Maureen's itinerary makes me feel exhausted just reading about it. I know what you mean about the housework, it is relentless. I detest it. I suggest you pile up that ironing out of sight. It always makes me feel worse to see work piled up. Give yourself some credit. You have coped with a heck of a lot in the last month, maybe this can be your quiet time ,mentally ,to give you chance to recover. take care

Poor Patsy, so sorry that you're not feeling good, thank goodness we had our vaccinations against pnuemonia, I really don't fancy getting it. I don't even want a slight cold I'm too busy. Led a Painting day at Durban House last Friday and on Saturday set up a painting area at our Church Garden Party. A good time was had by all. The outdoor painting sessions with the Patchings school went well and the last session was yesterday at Newark. I reckon I sat in the spot where Turner stood to paint the castle. I did it myself some time ago and will put it on my Gallery for you to see. This time I looked more at the bridge which carries the road over the river. But, I digress, so I'll just say, GET WELL SOON

So you caught his germs !!!!!!!!!!! naughty hubby. I do hope that you are looking after yourself Patsy. Take care my friend. XXXXXXXX B
