Hi folks! I am a professional artist/illustrator living in Victoria, Australia. Originally, I was born in Cornwall, United Kingdom and immigrated to Australia during 1958, I think! I have been an artist for around 30 years, I guess, on and off,working mainly in oils, charcoal, and watercolour. I was originally a cartoonist/illustrator, and subscibed my work to a number of Australian magazines, at this time, my fulltime occupation was a Federal police officer, then, around 12 years ago, I decided to bite the bullet and become a full time artist! and concentrate on my true love, painting the Australian landscape! I now have a working studio, where I paint and teach. I exhibit my work fairly constantly, and have been lucky enough to have been commissioned to present works for various corporate bodies, and private collectors, both here in Australia and overseas. I have recently joined forces with another artist, Joyce Hopwood-Knights, a contemporary artist ( now my wonderful partner!) and together we work on creating art! I look forward to gaining the opinions and comments from other artists out there!
