Just to introduce myself a little bit! More or less a self taught artist, I especially enjoy pastels. My preference is for animal and bird portraits, but enjoy doing landscapes - LARGE size. Had an entry in Patchings Art Festival in June, which I am extremely proud of even if I didn't win a prize. It was a real boost to my morale to be a chosen entrant in the first place! I am just beginning to get commissions for my work, which has to be the icing on the cake really! Just goes to show you are NEVER too old!! My husband produces bespoke hand made acoustic guitars, which are truly wonderful instruments, so between us we don't have time to be bored!
