Time for my Art!

Art-time

Hi I'm Eileen and for my sins I love sketching/painting in any media whatsoever! and now I've taken early retirement I can indulge my passion for art!! I've never done as much as I have though since moving to my Beach Cottage!! It must have given me the inspiration again to pick up my brushes as the view I have is to die for - my partner bought an old bungalow for us both in Kinmel Bay and transformed it into a house with an upstairs bedroom/bathroom with a balcony overlooking the sea, so you can't get any more inspirational than that! I joined an artgroup where I go on a Friday - it isn't a tutored group but with the people who are there doing their various paintings etc and the expertise they have - it could very well be! My main passion is animals but I have started doing different subjects because of the artgroup i.e. I have done a 'Flapper' and a picture (copied off a Jack Vetriano!) of a girl in a blue dress and the comments I have had from people on this website has been very surprising but pleasing to me and encouraging so thank you very much for your lovely comments and when i find out how to return your compliments i will do :)

Thanks Maureen for the advice the old back is much better now and high heels will be worn for Saturdays wedding with flats in the car just to be on the safe side...most people don't care about bad backs that is until it happens to them then they want advice...never mind that they have ignored your difficulties for years...you are so busy I love shopping for bedding especially when the sales are on get some really good stuff at the moment...but most of my money goes on art stuff just can't help myself...I buy stuff every week but havn't put brush to canvas for over a week...I tried the site you gave me but it didn't work...maybe another...why don't you write to Prince Charles no kidding he might get involved especially with the historical significance of the building...think I'm mad don't you...alright Richard Branson he's approachable...but my bet lies with the Prince...you've got nothing to lose...if it's the council trying to close it then get in touch with your Westminster MP...write letters and keep copies and then email too...make a big pain in the ass of yourselves...humiliate the big-wigs...takes a lot of energy though dosn't it but it seems to be worth it...very good luck to you all I'll try the site again

When making a big comment perhaps....COPY IT...keep the RH fingers away from enter/shift/Ctrl/backspace... Remember any comment made in any blog can be deleted by that blogger...

Just a quick note to say that we had trouble like you but it was on the gallery, had to do it again. Have left a comment on your gallery about your car. I will endeavour to make an effort with my next seascape.........have you seen my painting "Red Sails" on my gallery? Good luck in hunting for curtains & bedlinen.
