Experimenting with abstraction

It's always good to experiment. While still trying to find a way to paint landscapes that I find enjoyable, I had a go at abstraction to see if this was the answer. I started off with a sheet of cold press watercolour paper (slightly smaller than A4 size), which I soaked for a few minutes, scrunched up tightly and then taped it to a board to dry. I painted freehand with a 1" flat brush, adding additional texture by dabbing with a tissue.
