Sunday Drawing Class-1

Sunday Drawing Class-1

Drawing lesson for the beginners, who like and love to draw.

Video Link to see how you practice https://www.facebook.com/pratimd2/videos/1156993664419205/ Good morning friends. People who can see better they can draw a good artwork. This is the first lesson for drawing. So, what is the meaning of better viewing? Most of us always see anything just for a moment with the help of our eyes. But for drawing we need a little more time and a little use of our brain. Which transform our momentum view to an observation. In other word this observation means you are trying to view better than other people. This first tutorial , is the basic drawing tutorial, the elementary lesson, the root of everything you learn in drawing...... like “sa re ga ma pa or do re mi sa” when you try to learn songs.. Practice this at least once a day, I can assure you that after three months you can draw much much much better than you do today. You won't feel it difficult to recognize a line. Always these six points that I'm going to tell you now. So please pay attention..... 1. No Scales , no ruler, etc. You should not use rulers for drawing. It is not a proper practice to do so. 2. Use the minimum possible use of an eraser. 3. Always try to sketch with less pressure on paper with the pencil. 4. Never try to move the drawing board while drawing lines. It should be fixed in a single position. 5. Follow the arrows for direction to move your pencil which I mentioned on my tutorial whenever you draw the line. Never draw a line, vertically or horizontally, i mean, from the bottom to top or from right to left . If you do so, it maybe helpful for you to draw good lines but it’s not perfect to free your hand position. I can’t pressurize to do anything, because there is no standard way to draw a good artwork. So I can share my experience. You yourself will have to decide. 6. Always try to move your pencil along with your hand. Don’t make your hand static. Don’t use only fingers to use pencil. Your hand should move along with the pencil, and not just fingers. Now try it, take a snap and do posting. Please Feel free to ask any questions about this tutorial. Thank you very much, for watching this. practice well, draw well and do well, and then, please share your experiences with me. see you again on the next Sunday.

Thanks Res. Joanna Wood... Thanks a lot Nancy Brannaman maam for you kind words... If you can please visit my wall to see the video. Or you can Search on youtube to see that video... Pratim Das- How to draw a good line... hope that will help you way to make lines.

Fun exercise, Pratim. Not as easy as it looks. I apparently can't upload my images here, so I'll try uploading to the Gallery. I did the exercise once, realized I didn't pay close attention in a couple of triangles, and tried again. Again, my mind wandered in one triangle, so I erased (!) and fixed the mistake. I learned a hint for drawing lines from an architectural illustrator. He said focus your eye where you want your line to end and your line will be straight. Don't follow your pencil point as you draw a line. I tried this technique, and it really worked well for me. Now to improve my counting! :-)

it is help.

My pleasure SYLVIA EVANS maam ...

Thank you Pratim. 🙂
