Yea - I too read the book and it amazed me. I wondered why i got so frustrated whilst trying to paint. Aparently it was the 'know' all right brain getting fed up and encouraging me to pack up the drawing and get something interesting to do! I try to relax more when i am painting (although I still get angry for no apparent reason). I agree that drawing with the eyes diverted from the subject created interesting results.
