I thought I would introduce myself as I'm new to this site and this is the first blog I've ever written. I presently live in Leigh-on-Sea in Essex, but will soon be returning to my home in Norwich and would love to make contact with other painters in that area. Now aged 50, I've been watercolour painting for nearly two years as I've had more time since being made redundant from work two years ago and am now out of work again (I hate this recession). It's the first time I've done watercolour painting and only did pencil sketching whilst at school and nothing much in between. I would love to be able to do landscapes and especially seascapes, but don't seem to have much success with them so keep going back to simpler subjects. I'll get some more paintings on here as soon as I can - if only some of my sketches!
