I have had a real go at watercolour in my first year of retirement, and I'm still trying to get that loose style which I so admire in others (Steve Hall is another favourite) I will have to get around to putting some of my efforts into 'my gallery'. The next challenge that I am looking forward to is completing a 10 week course on 'Creative Painting' at Plymouth College of Art which starts at the end of January 2012 - I'm hoping that this will enable me to have a better understanding of contemporary art and how to create it. To me, art is all about challenging yourself to improve and enjoying that challenge.
